At The Day's End

This is a detail of a lovely cold Gin & Tonic. ( Grab a big heavy glass, add loads of ice, a slice of lemon, Gin, and very cold Tonic straight from the fridge.)
I handed it to the bearer of wit and scandal who had just arrived.
It looked so good that I asked him if I could take a photo of it. He took that in his stride. He has had many hours teasing me about Twitter, facebook etc... so this was just another odd thing for him to put up with in this house.

We had a good chat while my G&T perked me up after a long day lettering. I certainly needed a break.
