Photography project attempt

For one of my photos for my assessment i'm trying to put barbie in the spotlight to portray her "importance in the role of the perfect woman" as such. Unfortunately fiddling with the lighting has become a little beyond me, and this is the only photo that looked remotely like she was in the spotlight. It also really doesn't portray what I want it to. If anyone has any tips feel free to share :)
