Officially Open...

The ESP group was formed in late 2001 and was formed with the intention of getting Scotland's capital a proper outdoor concrete skatepark and after failed attempts to get it located in the Meadows and Inverleith Park, work finally started after a successful consultation to get it built in the city's Saughton Park. Today (well about 5pm last night) saw the official lifting of the fencing to open it for shredding.

With all the skater and BMXer involvement in the design of the park, there wasn't much doubt that it would be good but it is in fact a belter. It easily passes the TFP Skatepark Litmus test which really just requires that I can get right around the whole thing with out taking a foot of my skateboard.

Thanks to the guy (sorry, didn't get your name) that let me borrow his face and sunglasses for this shot of Rhuri skating the huge clover bowl and just making it look ridiculously easy.

Just realized, this benefits much from TRANSBIGGIFICATION.
