A great day it has been,
Getting away from Dublin. Without spending ages on the road.
No bickering in the back seat. Well, not by their standard anyway.
Tall trees and small steps.
Likable lichens and varied tree varieties.
Rats that look like squirrels. Or vice versa.
Egg sandwich picnic and flask of tea.
Egg sandwich farts and open windows.
Driving back to the city. Filled with memories.
