Factory wall with blossom

Every year at this time I try and take a picture of the trees against the factory wall but I never quite do it justice.

There are about ten trees which flower for a couple of weeks and the pink blossom looks great in the late afternoon against the red bricks. The plaque on the wall says LLB Erected 1888 (LLB is for Lever Brothers in Port Sunlight) and there is another one saying Enlarged 1893 just along the wall a bit. This late 19th century wall forms the boundary between the original soap works and the workers' cottages in the village. It's been the subject of some disputes, as there have been various proposals to knock bits of it down or incorporate it into new apartments. I hope it can be preserved.
