SOMETHING OLD AND POLISHED

I Spent hours trying to get this old Victorian "pumpkin" teapot into sharp focus and failed, had to resort to a quick twitch. So much for auto focus. And so much for manual focus as well. I could scream.

Anyway, I bought this teapot at auction in Perth, Scotland for £4 ($6.00) and it sits on a little 18th Century table on the upstairs landing, a little ray of light in an otherwise gloomy spot. The rug is Afghan and was bought in Jerusalem from an Arab rug dealer.

And Tigger, the pussy cat, isn't in sharp focus, either. He left in disgust after this shot. TIGGER
