a bird in the...ladder?!

Bird's eye.... A blip from my work today, as I was sent to photograph a dove, happily nesting on the top rung of a set of ladders on the outside of a house!
The bird was visible but nicely concealed at the same time, so to get this pic, I very slowly opened a bedroom window above, and instead of my big, noisy D3, I used my CX1 to unobtrusively poke out the window to snap the dove. As you can see, she was keeping a wary eye on my camera!
