Dog in a doorway

was on my way out to the Vietnamese embassy today to get a visa form.. and on the way there, i saw this little guy sat in a doorway of a house that was in a very poor area of gadong..

i was able to stop the car and get a pic of him..(it was a fair distance away)
he sat there for a while.. just looking, and then he disappeared back in the house..

It amazes me that in this day and age we live in a time where houses are still built of wood and have tin rooves..

Only 5 minutes later i drove past the Istana (palace) in all its glory with over 1700 rooms and its HUGE gold dome..
