Monarch of Murch Glen

As mentioned once before - one of our now retired teachers has done a year of studying the habitat of butterflies for his sabbatical. As part of that process the 5 year olds have been involved in ensuring the survival of the butterfly population by keeping an eye on the eggs etc of butterflies. Mrs B brought the swamp plant to school with several pupae on and this little darling is one of 6 born yesterday. She invited me to take some shots. Check here for its brothers and sisters
