Mum's tree

I planted this tree just after my mum died 9 years ago today. I'm amazed every year when it begins to bud and flower during the week she died.

Whilst out running last night I saw a calf being born. Lots of new life around in the fields and on the trees. Feeling a bit reflective and sad today. Still miss you mum x
