Scapa, Brighter than Yesterday

I was on the cliffs of Scapa Bay again today, looking for the only wader that is the subject of an Oscar-winning song. That's right, 'Whimbrels of Your Mind', from The Thomas Crown Affair.

Anyway, I was tempted to post an image of the lesser celandines that carpet the cliff-tops at the moment, interspersed with patches of primrose and dog violet, but have gone with this. I will Flickr the other here.
