One week anniversary at Blip!

We went for our usual evening stroll through the Jubelpark (Parc du Cinquantenaire). The park was built to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the independent state of Belgium. Hence, the prominent triumphal arch in the middle of the park.

Urban traffic tunnels also pass underneath the park. If you drive out of the city, the road comes up out of the tunnel, so you see the triumphal arch, and than you go back into the tunnel. This is quite a strange experience!
