Life with The Pinks

Sleeping bunnies

Today has been a busy one in the life of the mini pinks.

Master Pink was up and at 'em ridiculously early again, thankfully Mr Pink was the "'em" this morning and steered Master Pink off downstairs to watch early morning cBeebies so that I could sleep a little longer to when the clock began with a 7 not a 5!

We had our swimming slot and Master Pink almost burst with excitement that his friend from next door was coming swimming this morning, and will be from now on. Baby Pink and her best baby friend happily floated about in their rubber rings chattering to each other and splashing water about.

Lunch was had at the soft play centre known affectionately in the pink house as "the Colchester Balls". It was a rather belated meet up for Baby pink's birthday with some of her baby friends, so we had a birthday followed by slides, ball pools and general soft play adventures. New to the "colchester balls" was a mini gym for the children. A scaled down version of big peoples gym equipment but aimed at little ones. master Pink thought it was marvellous, and the colours of the equipment we much more exciting than boring gym issue machines. baby Pink had aswim in the pool balls, and adventured under tunnels. Master pink went down the big slides, because he's four!

A quick trip to the supermarket to stock up on essentials like baking potatoes, bananas and rice cakes (apple and cinnamon flavour) and peppa pig towels, followed by the twenty minute drive home.

And this is the picture that greeted me when we arrived home, both mini pinks fast asleep. Both were carried into the house, one rolled over in her cot and went back to sleep, the other kicked off his shoes and demanded rocket lollies!
