Flooding

After yesterdays huge 9 hours of resenting workshops, today was being part of the audience. The Ministry of Tourism and Tourism NZ presented some research and new directions, it was pretty interesting stuff. But, it did mean being inside from 9 - 3.30. Lots of clients and contacts to talk with.

And then out to several meetings straight after. Lots of talking, and by 6.30, running late, I caught up with the last client for the day - drinks and dinner. Nice to relax! The highlight of the day had to be the client who was complaining about cost to develop some booking processes (thought they should be free), and saying they are very simple, and then discussing 1 (of the 7 forms) for an hour.

Took several minutes to photograph many of the downtown Queenstown retailers emptying the shops of stock, in anticipation of tomorrows flood.
