Stray Female dog

I managed to get a picture today of a stray dog ive seen wandering along the main road here..

i also gave her some food even though i was unable to get near her..

she is extremely timid.. but hey.. who could blame her?

The affection for dogs here doesn't exist as for a lot of locals there is a deep dislike for all things Dog like..

It is Very sad as there are some beautiful dogs wandering the streets here..

Most dogs have been beaten in one way or another.. or stoned.. so they keep away from the humans

there are packs of dogs that roam here..NOW they are quite scarey...and sadly ive seen the demise of just ONE too many pet cats .. and in a way i can understand their hatred for this type of dog..

but this wee lassie.. well she would be a great pet..
but sadly..
i feel that is something she will never know..
