Bay tree flowers

Up at the allotment this morning, a chilly grey day compared with yesterday, I noticed that the little bay tree against the back wall was covered with a froth of creamy coloured flowers.

Never seen them before - don't know if it's the first time the tree has done this or just the first time I've noticed!
