Miss M's freckles

We took J his cousins A and N and his friend L up Corstorphine hill this afternoon.

My migraine had returned and once the spectacular visual display had subsided i felt washed out and tired but really wanted to get out for some fresh air.

J's cousins hadn't seen the den before and J and L were excited to show them. When we got there there was no den! all the carefully placed sticks and logs were gone! J the detective followed a smokey smell and found , not far from the den tree, a rotten hollow tree trunk that was charred and full of ash.....someone had obviously used all the sticks (and there had been a lot!!!) for a fire.

They didn't get too upset and started hunting new sticks down to start again. My migrainey head couldn't take too much and J's big cousin N had hurt her ankle so we decided to come up another day to re-do it.

I only got this picture because i promised her I'd buy her a sweetie.
