Prior to becoming a parent, I used to find the thought of a baby's face covered in mushy food a bit disgusting. When mrs monochrome was pregnant, I wondered how she would cope with the baby being covered in mush as she's even more adverse to that kind of mess than me (she can't stand food touching her skin at all really). However, as with pooey nappies and baby sick, you seem to become instantly immune to the mess as soon as it's your own wee one's mess.

Aidan was being a bit fussy after his veggies, so we gave him a rusk to keep him occupied. He's still not got any teeth yet, so he just tends to roll them around in his mouth until they're soggy and make a bit of a mess.
