VIOLET

Rainbow complete!

Despite my earlier comments about being Autumn and not having flowers to photograph, it's been a very mild, warm season here so far and I found a few blooms in my own garden which have survived.

When I was telling my eight year old daughter what I was doing, we ran through the colours together. We said "Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue..." - then I said "Indigo, Violet" while she said "Purple, Pink". Apparently that's what they teach in her school now, which actually makes a lot more sense.

It's been a fun exercise. It served no purpose at all, but it was fun.
