Fell Race

Went to the Yorkshire Dales for the weekend where the villages have traditional fell races.

This is where "fools" run 900 meters up a big hill, 100 meters across the top and then literally throw themselves down the other side to see who gets to the bottom first!

The blip isn't all that fantastic but I had to put this one in just so you could see what they went up - and came down. The whole race took under 15 minutes and there were several broken ankles and one heart attack in that time.

Everyones got a different idea of having fun I suppose.
