Goodbye Banksy

Thought I'd blip this before the developer who bought this derelict pub removes the Banksy graffito. This is supposedly the only Banksy that was commissioned (it's supposed to be a rat, but looks a little like a cat).


Should it be preserved or should this Grade II listed Georgian building be be developed into flats as planned? Is this vandalism? Or perhaps the nature of graffiti art is that it is a temporary, fragile medium?
