High church.....

......or the heights I'll go to for a blip. Site visit to the roof spaces of Durham Cathedral this afternoon, seeing the bits that you DON'T see on a standard tour. The guy in the high-vis jacket is Bob, the cathedral's clerk-of-works.....thanks a million Bob, a great tour as ever.... don't drink it all at once!! This is the crossing gallery, it's a bare 2ft wide and with a lower-than-waist height parapet that feels strangely crumbly and insubstantial somehow........tell you what, it's a helluva long way down......

PS.....that's colleague S on the right (I'm working on him as a possible blipper!), and he was looking up as far as I was looking down
