Bat Dog

For my birthday, Bat Dog befriended me and I cried when I had to leave her. She waited for a whole hour outside the internet cafe while I typed away and this is the site I saw when I came out. Out of all the Patagonian bonus dogs I met, this was the one I would have bundled into my suitcase.

We arrived in Puerto Natales after motoring down from Torres del Paine and, after going through the places to stay in the guidebook and not getting lucky, we settled on a new hotel - Indigo. It has a fantastic swing chair hammock thing on the central level. Great for reading.

The sun came out and we walked along the harbour front, watching the black-necked swans and admiring the boats.
