Has been an up and down week, one of the immigrant mother's in one of my son's class, killed both her 12 and 17 year old daughters, and took her own life. It has been a traumatic week for the staff and pupils and such a hard thing to understand. To explain to your kids. Such terrible waste and lack of hope for the future. Complete tragedy for the wider family, especially the father who remained at home in Asia to support this new life for his children. He was flying in this morning, what a terrible day he must have had, in a foreign land, with a second language additional burden and complication.

We also a friend who has been waiting on a cancer diagnosis today, and hallelujah, the result of todays tests show , maybe another 6 months to live, when the initial belief was it might be weeks.
