Pablo Cat

Meet Pablo, our youngest (and naughtiest) cat. He lives in what cat behaviourists call 'extended kittenhood'. In an nutshell, Pablo is akin to Peter Pan - the little boy who never grew up. I guess that makes me a kind of surrogate mother, though I must admit I don't skulk around at daybreak trying to snare mice for his breakfast.

Pablo is quirky and remarkably 'different' to our other cats. If he likes you, he'll rub around your legs, purr, nudge and generally make you feel like you are the only person in his life. Then he turns. It happens in a flash, and a soft and gentle caress turns into a bite. Maybe you've fussed him for too long, maybe you haven't fussed him enough.....Maybe you've touched the little part of his belly that is out of bounds? Who knows, but he's turned now and there is no going back. Those who know him can see his eyes glaze over before the change; those who don't soon learn.
