This is an image from our dear friend Lamees Mowafi's exhibition that opened tonight. It is the culmination of thousands of hours dedicated to her Masters in Fine Art at the Otago School of Art. It is beautiful work, exploring her move from her home in Jordan to her home here in Otago (hence the title) and all the other transitions that went along with that.

The photo doesn't do justice the crowd and the warmth that the opening had, nor the fantastic food that Lamees and Qassim had prepared for us.
