Who am I to disagree?

If....

If.... I hadn't killed the family pc we wouldn't have gone to PC World to checkout a laptop that I could get £150 cheaper on the net.

If.... We hadn't noticed Shasonic and wondered what they sold we wouldn't have gone in and picked up the "Boro at Wembley" Souvenir Magazine.

If....We hadn't known about Stevenage Borough being in the FA Trophy Final we wouldn't have gone to their stadium to buy three tickets.

If.... Stevenage's David Bridges hadn't been sent off after 28 minutes when Stevenage were 1-0 up they wouldn't have had to play 62 minutes of 10 v 11

If.... When Barrow's Robin Hulbert was red carded after an elbow on Charlie Griffin in the 90th minute either Charlie Griffin could have played on or Stevenage hadn't used all their substitutes they wouldn't have had to play extra time with 9 v 10

If.... The score hadn't been Barrow 2-1 Stevenage (aet), Stevenage could have had their third FA Trophy in four years

If.... A dark and surreal film from 1968 that I remember watching on TV in the 70s, I really must take the cellophane off the DVD and watch it some time.

I'd never been to see Stevenage Borough before, but thought that a family day out to Wembley Stadium would be good fun. We decided that public transport was the best option and although busy it was quite a bargain, £24.75 got all three of us there in about eighty minutes. Obviously the day would have been better if "our" team had won, but I'm happy for the Barrow fans, they'll have enjoyed the long day out from Barrow in Furness - they were the underdogs and it's always good when the underdogs win, but there will be a lot of Stevenage fans still thinking "If....".
