Potty time

First of all, "Happy Mother's Day" to all the mothers out there. Today is your special day and is an acknowledgement of all the hard work you (and your spouses put in.)

In this shot, we see the littlest TMG sitting on the potty. We are trying to convince him that going to the bathroom on the potty is good thing, but his interest is limited. He has happy to sit for 30 minutes + reading books (here we see a Richard Scary book), but never goes to the bathroom. I cannot help but wonder if he is doing it to spite us. He always has the cutest grin on his face while masterfully manipulating us. Of course, we are not in a rush to get him potty trained and so we enjoy his performance!

We have a secret plan B which we are going to try out. Some might call it a bribe while I prefer "an incentive." We will offer him a single M&M if he goes on the potty. I am not sure if it is compelling value proposition, but we thought that we might give it a try! Stay tuned for more details.
