Another busy day, but in fact I am struggling to define what I did ...

Anyway, back at the cemetery, more wandering. So many photo opportunities, many so poignant. What appeals to me about this particular place however, being the second oldest cemetery in Christchurch, is how relatively old the graves are, how relatively old the people were when they died (maybe only the older ones could afford graves?) and how in such disrepair many of the graves are.

While in general it's in good conditions, many of the memorials are cracked, broken, or being overshadowed by trees. Classic life from death ...
