A splash of blue in a special place.

June and I went for a walk to check out the bluebells in Fort George.
We came across the German cemetery.
In it lays 111 German soldiers and several British soldiers and a baby.
I was nice to stroll through reading the headstones and savour the peace and quite and think of history of this special place.
All the graves face the east and enjoy the sunrise.
It does serve as a reminder as much as we lost our soldiers during WWII other countries lost their soldiers to.
I pick this one out of the many as a tribute to ALL soldiers who have fallen in all wars.
