Pheasant Encounter

From our bedroom window early this morning we spotted this Cock Pheasant in the paddock in front of our house. Very exciting we don't, see them very often .The engineer agreed I should try and photograph it with his 400m lenses, which I don't get to use very often. The Pheasant was about 50meters away so the chances of getting a winner were slim especially as I have difficulty holding the big lenses still but with stabilizer on these are the results , Not winners I agree messy background and not enough detail just as a start . But neat to see wild Pheasants so close to the house.
