First attempt at shooting after dark

This is the view from my roof - I was actually watching the end-of-festival fireworks and attempting to shoot them.. but alas there were too many things to try to take into consideration and I haven't yet got to grips with my first 'proper' camera. Turning the camera the other direction proved to be more successful, although I still don't have a pin-sharp image. At the very least I understand a bit more about not shooting on AUTO! Practice.Practice.Practice.
