it was a very karaoke wedding. Jen and Pete's do-it-yourself style evidentially spilled over into their wedding planning. eschewing the traditional entertainment options (hire a band, or a DJ?) they enlisted the services of one of Ann Arbor's karaoke outfits to preside over the wedding reception. the result was nothing short of inspired. the bride got everyone motivated with a rousing rendition of Skid Row's "I Remember You". they even managed to get me out there with my version of Credence Clearwater Revival's "Susie-Q". my apologies to John Foggerty.
