Tulips

I love all the spring flowers, but my favourites are definitely tulips. I love the large fleshy stems that lead to the large flower head, with such boldness. The bright colours - though I love the pale ones also, and the very geometric middles.

Nothing can beat walking into the kitchen and seeing a small jug filled with tulips bathed in the morning sunshine. So very uplifting.
