Wayside

In gardens Honesty is a weed, but alongside the Walkway for me, it's a most welcome companion.

This year there is much less Honesty than usual along my regular two mile stretch of the Walkway, even in places where last year there was masses of it & plenty of seeds. Does anyone have any ideas why this is so?
