Blossoming...

I took an alternative route to work today and paused slightly at a blossoming tree that was dropping petals like snow. It turned out to be a bird in the tree which when it flew off in startlement threw down a plume of petals which whisked into wee whirlwinds as I strode on by.

A beautiful couple of seconds...
