Stairway to Heaven

Round at the Whisky Society this morning to get a bottle of their wonderful stuff (not for me, you understand; it was a birthday present for someone who can count the remainder of his thirties in hours).

The Members' Room is a great place, and very welcoming indeed - they even do free coffee if you can't face a dram. So it wasn't easy to rush in and rush back out again.

And when you emerge, blinking, into their little courtyard, it's always a surprise to see how close to the banana flats you are.
