WALKING OUR FEET OFF

The best day of the year so far. Mundy said "Let's walk to the river!". I replied "Really?" and he countered "Of course". So we did. For three blocks along the road, turn right, another block, turn left, through a lane, over the railway bridge, down steep steps, through a wonderful wild green place, down more steep steps, onto a road and along another block, turn left, down more steep steps to the river. YAY, we did it! Cross the river and up the pathway on the other side to the first bench we could find. See how happy he was to find it?

Then we caught a bus home!
