Elephant Parade

I met Fred after work to join the queue to see the News Quiz being filmed. It's one of the Radio 4 shows that we've wanted to see being recorded for a very long time, but somehow tickets always evaded us. This time, a friend sent us tickets because he'd won them and couldn't go. Yay for us! The show was absolutely hilarious, but I suspect that most of the hilarity will not be broadcast on Friday's show as it would upset more delicate Radio 4 listeners.

It was still warm enough for t-shirt sleeves when we left the recording at 9pm, so we walked from Regent Street through Piccadilly to Green Park, where we encountered many elephants on parade. They were lovely! You can see some more here. We passed Buckingham Palace and walked through Belgravia and over the Thames to Battersea Park where we caught the train home. It looks like summer may be here at last. Wha-hey!
