Hello Flower!

Today saw an Italian-themed birthday party for one of my elder daughters friends. A couple of hours were spent in the local fine pizza restaurant with a group of 5 and 6 year olds making their own pizzas and eating them.

Whilst all this merriment was being had, I visited a local woodland with our younger daughter. She was fascinated with the bluebells and had to make a close inspection. We had a great time, finishing the afternoon with ice cream on a picnic bench under a tree. Nesting blue tits just a few feet above our heads darted back and forth with tasty grubs for their young.
