Lazy Summer Sunday..

...here in Scotland we probably know we are all being a bit previous re this glorious weather, and that it will all be back to normal soon enough. After all, we are the country that invented the phrase "Back to auld clothes and porridge"...my most hated saying actually...

However, the flip flops and shorts are out in force today, as is the milky white Scots' skin, soon to turn lobster red by the acre. We were inside for Sunday lunch today, and it was totally, completely empty. When we stepped outside for a wee donder along Leith we worked out why - the world and their auntie were sitting out by the water, iced cider in hand. Felt almost cosmopolitan...

Have just checked the forecast for this week...rain and evening frosts...ah well...at least I've got the wardrobe to cope with that!
