Lobster

We were out diving in the Firth of Forth.
We took the club RIB out from Anstruther in Fife and crossed the Forth to Bass Rock on the south shore of the Firth. Conditions on the surface were fabulous; hot sunshine and calm conditions. Underwater it's still cold from the winter (9oC) and the early summer plankton bloom is in full swing so the underwater visibility was not the best.
This is on the wall on the north side of Bass Rock and we found this lobster on a shelf on the wall in amongst the plumose anemones (the fluffy things pictured). View it big to see the detail around mouth and eyes.

We did a second dive at The isle of May further northand closer to the coast of Fife. We went for a seals dive but the seals opted to keep there distance this time.
