One daze at a time...

Pet day

Busy, busy day today.
Started with a visit to the nursery. Jayzus, the dandelions, they've really gone up in price in the last year... You'd think they're made out of crude oil... Are they? My knowledge of plants is... well... barely adequate. Deflation, my fluffy bottom...
Anyway, I planted about 100 dandelions in the front garden this year.
And we got a good deal on the overgrown grass. Lidl was offering 2 bags of overgrown grass seeds for every satellite dish purchased.

Seriously. The weekend just gone has been a great one.
I watched the weed grow in the front garden, listened to the kids' sweet bickering, sampled a few glasses of finely matured grapes and let my nostrils get teased by the voluptuous scent of grilled body parts of cows emanating from the barber queue.

No injuries, no burns, no rain, no Jehovah witnesses, no e-mails, no train, no stress, nortec collective

We opened the last bottle of Pomerol Domaine de l'Eglise 1996. We enjoyed it to the last drop.
We most definitely seized the day.
By the short and curlies!

Pepe calls it a pet day.
