Day 4 in the Country

We said good-bye to our friends in northern California and flew up to see more friends in the Seattle area. We arrived at our friends' home just in time to celebrate a birthday with three other couples. There was cake, pie and ice cream later, then we laid our heads onto our pillows and slept like babies. It was a long day, but we feel lucky to have been able to share the day with beloved friends.
