Into the light

Today has been a non day.

Waiting for the working day to end, while aware that SJ is dealing with a lot of grief and heartache at the first of the two funerals she will attend in the next 24 hrs.

I wasn't there in body however I was well aware of it. I left work early and headed to the station to catch the train south. SJ was completely drained by the experience she'd been through. I did my best to lighten the load.

Down through beautiful countryside to industrial Wolverhampton and a nondescript hotel for the night and the worst nights sleep in a long time.
