I put the little Fuji on the model with the self timer set. This gave me ten seconds (six by the time I'd finished farting about) to get some height over the common before the shutter fired.
I used to do this when I was a youngster. It was film then, obviously, and no motorwind on a 126 camera so it was case of take off, take pic, land, wind on, take off etc. The results were even worse than this... and I had to wait a week to see the results.
