Honeysuckle

I wish this came with smell-o-vision. It smells glorious, especially now that it's rained.

My neighbour's sister, who grew up next door, says she can remember this honeysuckle from when she was a little girl - so it must be at least fifty years old. When I first moved in, it was growing next to a dead tree that fell down. Since then, I've allowed a self-seeded ash to take its place. The tree's been pollarded a couple of times, and is covered with ivy and honeysuckle, so the birds make good use of it. This year there are more flowers than ever - it's grown at least twenty-five feet high.
