Tiny Surprise

Today's capture was a complete accident. I had just finished running errands this evening and had not yet taken any pictures. When I got home I realized that I did not have enough hands to carry my camera bag, groceries and coffee upstairs. I was standing at the back of the car and decided to finish off my coffee before heading up to my apartment. When I tilted my head back to drain the last of the cup, I was face to face with a wasp nest in the ceiling of the garage. It was a tiny nest, maybe only big enough for a couple of wasps ... maybe a bachelor wasp pad!!

I was hoping that a wasp would come out while I was watching, but there did not appear to be anyone home.
