Actually, wild fuschia - the bottom bits anyway.

After five days of glorious weather which, dare say, I hope does not become known as the summer of '10, the rains have returned.

Actually, for this part of the world - at least for the flora - the rain is most welcome. The wild fuschia in the hedge rows responded almost immediately, bursting forth in their vividness and vibrancy.

The wild fuschia is the hallmark and symbol of West Cork.
