As I wandered aimlessly in the rain while my husband looked for replacement doors in a Tangmere reclamation yard, I found (reclaimed) this Botticelli's Venus statuary which as you can see has seen much better days.

Something about her moved me to contemplation... Beauty being in the eye of the beholder... Where had that original beholder of beauty and his eye gone?

In the end I had to,very reluctantly, leave her to her fate...
